We want to make the application process as smooth and clear as possible. It’s not designed to catch you out. It is designed so that you can see what’s ahead, prepare effectively and do your best. You can apply online, but don’t forget, you don’t have to fill it in all in one go. You can save it as you go along, take time to think about different questions and come back to them. If you’re successful, you will have a telephone interview. There are no surprises, so make sure you know when we’re phoning and you aren’t in the pub watching the football at the time. Then the chosen few will go through to an Assessment Centre, which will involve a range of exercises and a chance to get to know some of us more. We’re holding them regionally, so you won’t have to travel too far. After that, the rest of the hard work is done by us. We’ll sift through the results, talk it through and keep in touch so you know exactly where we’re up to. Once the decision has been made, all candidates can receive structured feedback if they wish. So even if you are unsuccessful this time, you can still take something away which will benefit you in other interviews.
